I got a haircut ^_^

So yeah...I got a haircut! It was waaay past time. My hair is usually long and I never have time to do anything with it except put it up in a bun, but I got some of it chopped. My head actually feels less heavy o_O Now it won't take nearly as long to straighten. Yaaay!

Also I was recently searching around eBay for art books and then I remembered how much I lurved the original art for Sailor Moon. I found some of the books for it, but they were ultra expensive,no real surprise there. So I continued my search through the vast interwebs and found this absolute gem of a website where you can get gorgeous scans like this...

Holy crap I just remembered I had one of these. Wait what is it? Like some kind of blog type thingy? Hmmm... this requires some further inspection.
Anywho, since my recent internet activity has been nothing more than one random info/fic search after another let me recap some events of my winter break.
- I made cookies! Yaaay!And they were entirely edible! Whoot! I made some snowballs(russian teacakes, whatev) and some chocolate covered peanut butter balls. THE first cookies I have ever made solo. My mom, grandpa, and aunt enjoyed in any case.
-Things I got for Christmas: $Money$, a scarf and some gloves that match my coat,this really fancy dvd selector case that holds 100 discs. It's sooo cool and hard to describe, so heres a pic

I also got some fuzzy socks and a comfy fleece blanket, and a giftcard to borders.
So yeah a decent Christmas and my birthday is right around the corner ^_^
-I've spent some nice quality time with my grandpa. We watched Dante's Peak, Jurassic Park, and part of Close Encounters of the Third Kind, since they were on TV. I mean Dante's Peak was so so but entertaining. Then Jurassic Park came on and we just got sucked into it O_o, but there was popcorn so everything was cool.
-Been trying to force myself to do things like play video games and clean my room, but I keep getting sucked in to the TV or the internet. Think I'll at least try and finish up my Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney games. I <3 those games ~_~
-Last but certainly not least I must pimp this fantastic LJ group thepinkpanzer they are a group devoted to Scanlating older 70's-ish BL manga, one of which is From Eroica With Love. They also have the 1st chapter of the Plus Ultra art book. Sweet group check them out ^_^

Summer classes are nearly done! Whoot! Now all I have to take is Essential Computing 1 and World Geography. I'm enjoying the appartment and making a bit of money so everything is pretty decent @ the moment.
I'm also anxiously awaiting the 5th Harry Potter movie, and freaking out about the last book coming out. Actually I just read Half-Blood Prince despite having gotten it right when it came out. LOL! I never even read the first book until after I saw the first 3 movies. Honestly as much as I love Harry Potter it'll be nice to be able to move on with my life. Too many questions, too many fabulous characters! IS SNAPE GOOD OR EVIL!? Ahhhh!*takes a deep breath, lets it out slowly*

Anyway, surfing around youtube I found a hilarious clip that all you Jeeves and Wooster fans will appreciate. Apparently Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie had their own sketch show. Heres a clip...

I am currently passing all my classes and kicking ass on my finals ~_~ WHOOT! I must get back in touch with my friends from home so we can hang out. I'll only be home for a week before I take summer classes, but hopefully I can at least pop over and say word up. Now all I have to do is move all my crap back home @_@

Street Sense won the Kentucky Derby ^_^ It was exciting as always and the horses who were supposed to win did. They had more coverage on celebs in attendence than what I would have liked, but there really weren't many interesting stories they could have filled the pre-show with anyway. Hopefully Street Sense will be able to take the rest of the Tripple Crown *cheers*

Now how will I write my first fanfic? Hmmm, I've been tossing quite a few ideas around for some Eroica fic, but maybe I should try and write a few practice drabbles about a more familiar fave like gundam wing or saiyuki. *grabs nearest notebook and starts to scribble in it furiously*
Oh! and I found this decent clip for POTC:AWE. I think I got it off of the whore4hector comm. Captain Barbossa fights Mercer for like a split second and it looks sooo kewl. I can hardly wait until it comes out.

They're all for From Eroica With Love and most of them turned out pretty nicely since I haven't really done this in awhile. Enjoy and please give credit where credit is due ^_^

You should be seeing some nice icons(or at least pics that can be used for this purpose ^_^;). The Klaus ones turned out particularly well in my opinion. Now if only I had and animation shop ^_^
Oh! and please give me some feedback it'll be some of the first that I've had *squeee*

Patton Oswalt is soooo funny and it's the only thing good to watch on the TV. I love the angry steakhouse commercial bit. And the apocalypse ^_^

I was watching CNN for news about Israel getting ready to send ground troops to Lebanon but it's just a lot of talking heads and their speculation. Doesn't look like we're doing too much about that though. *shrugs* Who knows. What upsets me the most about all the politics and conflicts (aside from the civilian casualties) is that we will probably never know everything behind all of it. I'll never get over that we know what happened in the past and that we're unable to keep ourselves from repeating it. *sighs* History is such a bitch.

Just wanted to let anyone who has wandered by here know I haven't died ^_^; Right now I'm toggling around my custom settings and trying to write a fic involving some original characters. Also after seeing Norrington in POTC:DMC I LOVE HIM!!!! The scruffiness looks good on him yeah? Anyway I'm off to figure out how this stuff works, later!

Look out world I've graduated! Yup as of June 9th I'm an adult and as our speaker said, in other words, I am responsible for my own actions and the stuff that happens as a result of them. Yeah that's not gonna work out ^^; But hey it's on to college! (in like, September)
As for my dreams of writiting readable fan fiction, I've been attacked by an interesting plot bunny. I'll write it for FAKE since it's really the only fandom I can think of, that I'm familiar with, that it isn't too outlandish for. The plot bunny itself...well if I told it wouldn't be as fun. Plus it would best be posted in a Ryo/Dee or FAKE fandom community, if such a place exists.
I leave you with one word: laundry ^_^
